Dr. Edward Irvin Stalnecker, 75, Crystal River, died Thursday, April 5, 2007, in Crystal River.
Born June 7, 1931, in Winter Haven, he was the son of Frederick and Lela (Herndon) Stalnecker. He came here 18 months ago from Marathon.

He won multitudes to Christ, and touched the lives of many.

In the past two years, Maritime Ministries has given away about 150 vehicles. He worked with CASA to provide vehicles. He also preached in several local churches that were without a pastor, and he planned to lead the Easter Sunrise Service at Lake Rousseau R.V. Park.
