Multiple Professor Dismissals at SWBTS

I knew Southwestern was monstrously overstaffed and needed to make adjustments, but had no idea they had dismissed 26 professors, information which is buried in this article about one of them.
This one claims the school fired him because they're at odds over his position on homosexuality. I can't imagine that is anywhere near true, as the school claims it isn't. More fallout, apparently, from the Patterson era.
