Pretty shocking, huh?
https://julieroys.com/leading-evangelic ... -new-book/Well, maybe the SBC doing this is too broad a brush. Robert Jeffress and Jack Graham specifically. Oh, and Jerry Falwell Jr. Looks like in the Baptist world they want to build around the orange headed buffoon, women can pastor churches, are not disqualified from ministry for having affairs and the prosperity gospel has replaced the Biblical one. I've been checking to see if Paula White is getting invitations to speak at Prestonwood or Dallas First Baptist. Poor Beth Moore. She sticks with the Bible in her teaching and has been faithful in her marriage but gets blasted because she accepted an invitation to preach a Mother's Day sermon in a church. Southern Baptist leaders are still frumping about her, but their double standard doesn't apply to the buffoon's "spiritual advisor."
And they wonder why their attendance, membership and money are vanishing.
BTW, if you're not familiar with Julie Roys, take a look at her website. Good stuff.
